The berries are red, but the result is a clear white wine. Pinot Gris is full and lush with melon and pear flavors. Slightly fruit forward with a smooth and crisp finish.
Windy Ridge Estate Vineyard is located in south Meridian, within the Snake River Valley AVA. The vines were planted in 2004 in sandy loam soil with substantial caliche content. The six-acre site was formerly an organic vegetable farm. No pesticides or herbicides are used on the vineyard.
